Spantik Base Camp Trek

This spectacular trekking trip is a wonderful trekking opportunity in a great range of mountains. Spantik (7027 M) is situated in the mountain chain Karakoram that form the boundary between Baltistan and Hunza. The spectacular approach trek along the Chogo Lungma Glacier passes throughout array of stunning mountains surrounding far from the usual trekking routes.

DAY-01-ARRIVAL: Arrival Islamabad Airport and transfer to hotel. (B).

DAY-02-CHILAS: Drive to Chilas in Air-Conditioned coach/van/bus along the Karakoram Highway. On reaching Chilas transfer to hotel. (B/L/D)

DAY-03-SKARDU: Drive to Skardu and transfer to hotel. (B/L/D)

DAY-04-ARANDU: Jeep drive to Shigar valley, following the Askole road before branching westward to Basha River ravine to the village of Arandu, o/n in tents (B/L/D).

DAY-05-CHOGO BRANGSA: After breakfast in Arandu camping site, we will start our trek to Chogo Brangsa camp. The trekking is quite short following the verdant ablation valley on the northern side of the Chogo Lungma Glacier, o/n in tents (B/L/D).

DAY-06-BOLOCHO: After breakfast, we continue trek along the northern edge of Chogo Lungma Glacier, crossing the two subsidiary glaciers and will reach the Bolocho Glacier, o/n in tents (B/L/D).

DAY-07-SPANTIK BASE CAMP: Trek to Spantik base camp, o/n in tents (B/L/D).

DAY-08-FREE DAY: Free day to explore surrounding areas of base camp (Camp), o/n in tents (B/L/D).

DAY-09-11-ARANDU: Trek back to Arandu village on same route, o/n in tents (B/L/D).

Day-12-SKARDU: Jeep drive to Skardu, o/n in hotel. (B/L/D).

DAY-13-CHILAS: Drive to Chilas, o/n in hotel. (B/L/D).

DAY-145ISLAMABAD: Drive to Islamabad, o/n in hotel (B/L).
